It's probably time for an update
The job hunt takes forever. If I didn't need money so bad I'd give up on it completely. I picked up applications from all over, but for some reason I'm still REALLY hoping to get that bank job. It most likely won't happen, but I can pretend.
Found out my GPA is now 2.8. Which means I no longer have a scholarship unless I can convince the scholarship office that I have medical problems. I'll work on that. I usually manage to convince myself that I have medical problems, so maybe it'll work on them.
I've also decided that I need to take up running again. I didn't realize it was possible to feel so FAT from a few short bursts of sprinting. I can still run fairly fast; it's just the whole "I just got run over by a dumptruck" feeling afterward I'm not too fond of. (Speaking of running, my hand swelled today from slamming it into the sidewalk. I MAY need coordination lessons.)
...This summer isn't shaping up quite how I had expected. Curious. But I like it.
MELISSA: I found out about a video game tournament in September for Super Smash Bros., Halo, and Soul Calibur 2 (GC version). I think we should sign up for SSBM at least. I'm also pondering signing up for Soul Calibur. It's 20 bucks per registration per game selection though, so let me know if you want to do it. I'd definitely prefer to have you go with me then to do it by myself.
That orangeish blob is Kathleen Hannah at Coachella. What can I say? I need eye candy, and Kathleen provides it.
