Them Japanese Kids... phoenix_hawk January 26 2005, 12:30:47 UTC
are wacky wacky fellas! I think one of the odder ones from second year was a Soccer club kid (natch), who tried to play grab-ass with me every class for 3 months. What made this funny was that it was with the strictest teacher in the school (Imagine a no-fun chain-smoking pachinko-whore who would be better off teaching math then english). This kid used every chance to get me into trouble-one time, I was collecting worksheets, and the kid was yanking my chain, and after several futile grabs, I accidentally tore it in half trying to get it from him. He immediately ran to the instructor and whinged outragiously, trying to get 'Michael Sensei' into trouble. The teacher scolded him, took away his half of the work sheet, and threw it in the trash surriptiously (sp).

...This episode still makes me smile for some reason, thinking of how the teacher decided to cover up for me.

Do you know the JET (ALT) commercial? Actually it's one of car commericals. (I guess it's Toyota one.) You and that student should be on the next commercial. :P

I haven't seen the new commericial because I haven't been watching TV for a while. Is the teacher the same person?

The student in your post reminds me of one of my Ichinensei, except we have similar altercations every lesson!

Hahaha, cute story. Unfortunately, I think 80% of the 3nensei boys are like that in my school, and I only have so many eyes ;_;
