I had an amazing Holiday Luncheon courtesy of the company today at Roy's. It was perfection. Jules, the president and owner of the company, brought his own wine for the meal. There were two great red wines from Brewer-Clifton Winery. We had a platter with four different appetizers. The edamame was the best; it was seasoned with a teriyaki, soy sauce. I had the best clam chowder ever and I had the ahi as my entree. The desert was fruit, brownie, and a small coconut eclair. During lunch, I had some really great conversation with my coworkers about Mexico, global warming, kittens, and sales. Yes, it all sounds really random, but I guess you would have just had to be there for it to all make sense. In addition to the fabulous meal, this year everyone got an American Express gift card with a good amount of cash on it.

After that I enjoyed a great ride home on the subway. I guess that sounds weird, but again, I think it's one of those things that you have to be there to understand. Sometimes humanity is beyond words to describe.

I'm really looking forward to this weekend. Party on Friday and the Melting Pot on Saturday.
