This weekend was a blast.
On Friday, I saw Michael Ian Black at the House of Blues in Anaheim. Apparently the Dan Band was performing before him. We didn't buy tickets to see them and opted for dinner instead. When that show let out, there were so many drunk people. They weren't kids my age either nor younger but older, much older. Good times. We got flooring seating because we ate in before the show. Michael Ian Black was hilarious. The guy before him, not so much, but still, overall I'm happy that I saw them. On a side note, the Moving Units are going to be there on Jan 26th. I can't wait to see them to get my shake one.
Yesterday we headed up to the Standard. First time I have ever gone. Our room was awesome. We got ready for dinner and walked over to the Westin to eat at L.A. Prime. The food and the view was amazing. Going up the elevator I was able to see my office.
After that, we went back to the hotel to go to the outdoor bar. Including us, about 15 people were there. Probably because it had rained earlier. I dipped my feet in the heated pool and sipped on a martini. Wee! I can't waited to go again when the weather is nicer.
Today we slept in and headed to Little Toyko for primo sushi and to go to the Japanese market.
As for this week, work, work out, and I still need to get two more gifts. Oh yes, and the company's holiday luncheon at Roy's. Fuck, I feel like such a fat ass right now.
