Well it's time to announce the next lucky show that has been knocked off the list of 40 !!
*Grey's Anatomy*
I have steered clear of this show for so long due to the hype surrounding it and also due to the fact it was going head to head with CSI, but I thought what the heck I will give it a go.
I managed to watch all 3 seasons (Well up to episode 21 of Season 3, as that is the most current episode !!) in 8 days so I am pretty impressed with that, although I really am gonna have to try harder if I wanna get all 40 shows in before the end of the year !! he he
I have absolutely fallen in love with this show and I am gutted that I waited this long to see it, although it is fun getting to see all of the episodes one after another and not having to wait a week at a time !!
Anyway as usual my thoughts on it under the cut !!
Firstly did I mention I love this show, I mean I like it so much that it really is competeng with CSI at present for my all time favourite show, which really is quite a bold statement for me.
I love watching all the surgeries and medical jargon, call me a geek if you will but I love all that science nerdy stuff !!
Not a big fan of Meredith I have to say, I find her too whiny and needy but I don't hate her character so I can deal with her.
Also not having any love for Burke or Cristina, as individuals I find them frustrating as a couple they are even worse, but I guess they are more characters you love to hate then actually hate........if that makes sense !!
Mc Dreamy is hot and I can see what all the fuss is about (And I don't even like boys !! he he )
Bailey is a wonderful character and I would love to see tonnes more story lines with her in. I love her sarcasm and the way she talks to the interns.........classic !!
Izzie is just yummy in a cute girly sort of way and I have to say I wouldn't mind having her showing me a little bedside manner :P
The Izzie/Denny storyline had me in floods of tears, I mean actual sobbing. I mean you knew it was coming but yet it still hits your heart hard.
Callie and George belong together, they are good for each other. So naughty naughty Izzie needs to leave poor George alone.
Why is Mc Steamy even there, go back to New York and leave the hotness that is Addison and Alex to get it together.
Addison is gorgeous and I have totally fallen in love with her as well as Kate Walsh. I was ok until I saw her in one scene with her hot glasses on the end of her nose and I was smitten for good !! You know I have a thing for hot redheads in glasses *cough* Catherine Willows *cough*
Did I mention Kate Walsh is hot??.........Oh I did!! Did I mention I love her glasses??.....Oh I did that as well !!! Hmm well I don't think I mentioned that I love her sexy outfits so I am gonna mention that now !! he he
OMG Addison is getting her own spin off show. OMG I can not wait to see a whole show dedicated to the Hotness that is Addison/Kate.
Overall I am totally in love with this show, I love the characters (bar a couple !) and I love the story lines and all the weird and wonderful patients and medical conditions that we get to see at Seattle Grace Hospital. Most of all I love the constant underlying tone of sarcasm and tongue in cheek this show brings.
I am gonna give Grey's 9 outta 10 which for me is an amazing score for me. Would of been a 10 but it lost that one last point for the silly storyline I like to call "Who the hell would take so long to deposit $8.7 million", that was almost a Jump The Shark moment for me !! he he
The next show is gonna be 24, but as that has 6 seasons under it's belt it may be some time before I come back with my thoughts on that ...........maybe I might do it one season at a time :)
