More on the Witching Hour...
So, I've had my heart set on this since I first heard about it (thank you, Schnoogle).
I did some research. The approximate cost, not including gas, tolls, food, or extra spending money would be $425 (rounding up). I factored in the registration fee, hotel fee, and renting a car (since there's NO WAY I can drive mine, if it survives that long).
Assuming stuff to make the price go down: four people in a hotel room, four people to split the cost of the rental (hah - if we all pack REAL lightly, we could do it).
Assuming stuff to make the price go up: I would be on the 'production team,' which is... well, basically what I do at work. No discount on registration... I just have to be there a day early (and pay an extra day on the hotel). I just think it would be fun to be involved. ^_~
I've got a long time to come up with this money, although I would have to come up with registration before the end of this year to get a good price, and the hotel I'm gonna have to come up with around that time, as well.
Also assuming I'm even ALLOWED to rent a car, considering I'm not 25. *sigh*
