so i havent updated since june. wow. i guess ive just been too busy to spend time writing in an online journal. wait, no, no, that's a lie. im just lazy. the summer's been good. consisted of a lot of hanging out with the girl and the guys. the bartending has been going well. im not really the rookie anymore. i know what i'm doing and have been working parties by myself for a while. i got to go to phil's house a couple weeks ago. that was fun. we went to see jamie's band because they were playing maybe 10 minutes from phil's house. it was good. we just hung out and drank a lot of beer and grilled a lot of food. and i rocked him in mini-golf. move-in day is in less than a week. i really cant wait. i need to go back. its gonna be busy though. ill be taking 6 classes as well as bartending. my manager said hes pretty sure he's gonna hire phil too so thatll be cool. ill get to train phil. this summer was nice. i got to go to philadelphia, which i have never visited. i brought jen for her birthday and we hung out with her old friends and went to the art museum and walked around south street. its been a relaxing summer but i really cant wait to go back. im gonna have to try to hang out with my friends from home more though. cause life with no halo night... well i just cant imagine it. so hopefully ill be able to come home every once in a while. this summer really has been a good one. i didn't really work that much, which was good and bad at the same time. i had a lot of free time, but no money. some weeks i'd get around 30 hours, but others i'd get maybe 6. oh well. i still got some good experience bartending, and that's all i really needed. i spent a lot of time with my special girl too. as well as my friends.
