Another year gone
Wow how time flies last year at this time I was looking forward to graduation and the beginning of college but now I am looking forward to ending my first year of college. Well I survived 2007 only coming out with a couple of bumps and bruises and a broken heart that is repairing slowly but surely. It brought challenges but I made it through it with a strong will and help of all the great friends I have. 2008 will present new challenges and obstacles but I know I can make it through them no matter how tough. Not to mention its already a great start to the year getting the news that I will be an uncle. I ended 2007 academically on a strong note I can only hope that momentum carries over into this semester we shall see soon.
Lessons learned in '07:
To live one day at a time don't plan ahead because you never know what is around the corner
Karma sucks but its life
Don't date your boss's daughter
Being an Alabama at Auburn is not too hard even if Bama has failed 6 times now to win the Iron Bowl
I think way too much about situations and the possible outcomes
Life changing experiences come when we are least expecting them
Never try to palm a window your hand might go straight through
Plus many more that I can't remember
Things to work on in '08:
Understand that things will become clearer with time and God's help
Understand that what I want is not always what I want
Understand God's timing is not going to be the same as my timing
Being myself will work out a lot better for me then trying to be someone else
Dreams will not always turn out to be reality
Maybe turning 20 will not be so bad like everyone says haha

Well '08 is here and its time to give this year the best I have to offer. Love you all and the best of luck on everyone's upcoming semester
