Hello, again...
So, a lot has happened since I last posted here, some bad, some incredibly good. I struggled with the decision to make an entirely new journal, but in the end decided just to go from here. I still like "homewitch," and I don't have a clue what I'd choose as a new username, so there you have it.
Short update for those who don't know me outside of the LJ community. In the past year and a half I:
.... Got divorced
.... Moved to the DC Metro area,
.... Got a job working as a project admin for - get this - a Presbyterian church in Southwest DC (VERY cool church called Westminster... more on them at a future date),
.... Lost a little weight,
.... Got tired of the gray and started dying my hair again,
.... Broke my leg
.... Fell in love (against a LOT of odds) with a truly awesome person (definitely more on that!)
.... Broke my leg *again*
.... And am starting on the next big adventure of my life.
.... And before it's asked: yes, the cooking stuff will resume very soon. Who knows, maybe even tonight... !
