Characters: Akihiko Sanada (tairyoku) & Minako Arisato (endless_arcana)
Setting/Location: The dense forest outside Steamdrab
Date & Time: Backdated to Day 10. Akihiko's arrival so afternoonish?
Warnings: Um, PG? PG-13? Nothing too bad really.
Summary: Minako promised to come find Akihiko and they are going to escape the forest together and live happily ever after

Her decision had been made, but it still weighed a little heavily on her mind. She'd go down fighting without a doubt, even if it was as Ryoji had said. Even if there really was no way to win.

Shaking her head, Minako dismissed the negative thoughts and concentrated on finding Akihiko. Right now, finding him was the more important thing she had to do, and when something was important, she gave it her all. So with a quick nod, she pushed deeper into the thick forest, her naginata held ready.

It might've taken her a while to backtrack a little to find him, but sure enough, a while after she'd talked to him, she broke through some heavy undergrowth just in time to see him. She was sure she looked a little worse for wear; hair coming down from it's pins and her uniform looking a little rumpled, but she honestly didn't care. Besides, it couldn't be any worse than how she more than likely looked when they all finished what seemed like nightly sessions in Tartarus.

Blinking, she paused to watch him for a moment before she took off across the way.

Sorry Akihiko, but you're getting a hug.

The hug took him completely off guard as his eyes widened and his face became a hue of red.

"Oh h-hey! Minako..." He stuttered, not really knowing what to do with his arms; to hug back or not? "I'm glad you're okay." He felt a little guilty making her go off and find him, while he just stood there, waiting and brooding.

She pulled back, rubbing at the side of her nose and hoping he didn't notice she was just as red.

"Of course I am. Nothing worse than Tartarus, right?"

Still a little pink cheeked, she smiled up at him, the happy look at odds with the long weapon in her opposite hand.

"Did you find everything?"

He noticed, and he may have gotten a bit redder from it. He scratched the back of his head as he looked around.

"I hope you're right." This place was strange after all, and unpredictable.

He smiled awkwardly back at her.

"Yeah I have--" He paused. "Oh wait, this..." He said as he bent down to pick the Junogam up.

"Don't wanna forget this." No, he really didn't.
