Characters: getrightbackup and psycheosis Setting/Location: Streamdrab, somewhere in the streets Date & Time: Day 10, late morning Warnings: None. Summary: I have a sister? What'chu talkin' 'bout, Willis?!
[ Finally, after the chaos and confusion of this world, things were going the way Metis wanted. She'd had enough of this bitter loneliness which pervaded every aspect of her being. It ached to be apart from her Sister, so when she sensed her nearby, her heart soared. She stood up quickly, hammer dragging behind her as she peeked from behind the corner and waved to get Aigis' attention shyly. ]
[ Aigis nearly walks in a different direction, but she simultaneously sees and picks up Metis' presence before she does. All of that alone was enough to make her heart jump. If she had one, that is. Because it was hard to deny the vague similarities between them, even if only by looking.
It takes her a moment to speak, but she eventually does. ] Metis-san...?
[ Slowly. Tentatively. She steps out and nods, hammer dragging behind her. She waves and gives Aigis a happy smile, trying to resist the urge to simply run into her sister's embrace. ]
[ She pauses. She's totally unsure of how to react to someone who's supposed to be her "sister." After a while, she finally thinks of something to say. ]
[ she could feel the heat flaring in her cheeks and unclenched her hands. ]
I'm from a place called the Abyss of Time- you could think of it like the crater left behind when Tartarus disappeared. At least that's what your friend Fuuka said. She was reading through some old documents she found.
[ She can't believe she's talking so much about herself. If she says any more, it'll worry Aigis, and that's what she does not want. ]
None of that matters right now- I don't know how I got here, but... I'm glad, because I was able to meet you again, Sister.
[ Aigis starts at hearing Fuuka's name, almost more focused on that than anything. It was possibly a small bit of proof that Metis wasn't lying, because there was no other way she could know about her. ]
So you've met Fuuka-san? And...and the others?
[ She takes a moment to think that over. Despite what Metis might want, she wants more information. And now. ]
Please, tell me more. I must know if my friends are all right.
[ Cautiously, Metis tried to explain in her own biased way how she had encountered SEES (leaving out her decision to eliminate them). She had encountered them in the Dorm, having arrived to protect Aigis. Metis described the Abyss of Time as a residual effect of Tartarus which had mysteriously trapped them inside. But they had discovered the source- a monstrous Shadow- and defeated it, allowing them to leave. These were the basic details, and she hesitated here and there- but as longas she assured Aigis her friends were safe... that should be enough, right? ]
[ Aigis listens carefully and quietly, trying to take everything in (as difficult as it is to do so). However, as Metis speaks, she keeps focusing in on someone that should've been mentioned from the beginning. She's hesitant to ask, though, because something doesn't seem right. For now, she decides to get a little more information. ]
[ She had dreaded this question. There was no way to explain this one and she absolutely would not lie. But then again, she only knew him by name and knew of his fate- one that she feared explaining Perhaps the hesitation was clear on her face... ]
[ She deliberates on that for a moment. After giving Metis a look that holds the slightest amount of suspicion, she nods. ]
All right. Perhaps it is best to wait. After all, I will see him soon enough once we reach our destination in Loophole. And as long as I know that Tartarus truly meets its end eventually, I will be able to remain focused on helping out the others and learning all that I can here.

It was scary... I guess.
[ She blushed a little and looked away as if embarrassed to admit she had been frightened. ]
Your safety was more important to me than my own.

Do you...truly care that much about me, despite my not knowing who you are?

I see... So things have since returned to normal?

[ She isn't meeting her sister's eyes. That non-verbal way of communicating took startling effect as she felt a mutual insecurity from Aigis. ]

That's good.
But, umm... Is Minato-san all right?
