After a somewhat uncomfortable night spent merely lying on his back and staring up the ceiling, Yuusei wasn't so sure how the rest of the journey would be if even sleeping was somewhat of a difficult task. As he wandered through the lobby, jacket slung over one shoulder with his other hand in his pocket, he noticed the girl sitting rather anxiously to the side. He tilted his head a bit and raised a brow, walking quietly over towards her to have a better look.

From afar, she appeared to simply be a little nervous, but closer examination lead him to believe that it went a bit deeper than that. With a softened gaze and the concerned line of his lips parting, he murmured, standing just a good half-foot from where she was sitting, "You alright?"

The concern of these strangers reminded her of when she'd first started living with Rei and Yuu after the death of her brother. They'd been very kind to her, very understanding, even though she was reluctant to talk about what had happened to Mafuyu. Part of her regretted not telling them the truth about the incident when she'd lost him--she'd just said there was an accident and that was that. Now Yuu was dead and Rei was far, far away, and it would be a long time before she got the chance to tell at least Rei.

But that had little to do with the present situation, and Miku had to remind herself that someone was talking to her, and she needed to respond.

"I-I'm fine. Thank you for asking." And she really was thankful he'd asked.

With a slight furrow of his brow, Yuusei could recognize the sound of dismissal in her voice. Aki herself had the tendancy to simply brush him off with a quiet quirk of the lips while telling him that she was perfectly fine. "Your voice sounds a bit familiar. You're... Miku, right?"

He sat himself down on the arm of a chair next to hers, running his fingers through his sleep mussed hair to try and straighten it out, his own mind lingering on about home. Everyone... was going to be okay, he was sure of it, but at the same time there was a seed of doubt and dark that wound itself tightly around his gut.

"I am." The people here were pretty good about remembering people's names and voices, it appeared!

"Are you Yuusei?" She hoped he was--it would be terribly embarrassing to mess up someone's name when they'd gotten yours right. Embarrassing, and maybe a bit rude.

Something about him... was he worried about things? Or just thoughtful? She dared not press him on whatever he was thinking about, however. She figured that wouldn't have painted a very good impression of herself.

"Aa, that would be me." He settled into the chair now, shifting his legs around to plan them firmly on the floor. "Kind of hard to sleep in a new place for the first time, isn't it?" he asked with a quiet smile.

"It is. I'm still a little tired!" she managed a weak laugh, despite her efforts to the contrary. How well could you sleep when you were being harassed by ghosts, anyway? And that was on top of the 'new place' aspect.

"I hope you slept better than I did," she said sympathetically.

He shrugged a bit. "A little rough... have a lot of things on my mind. I'm not sure if I should be relieved that I'm here or panicked." Leaning back in the chair, he settled his hands behind his head, eyes on the ceiling in thought, though he was very tempted to close them. This entire place just screamed "dream," but after a few too-real splinters and the expansive amount of time spent here, he'd managed to push that idea to the far corners of his mind. "It's all a bit overwhelming, but I guess it's something we're going to have to get used to for a while..."

"Overwhelming is right..." A dream... Miku couldn't even hope that this was a dream, given how her dreams had begun to affect her reality--had begun to threaten her life.

"We'll adapt eventually," she murmured. "People generally do..."

She'd never really 'adapted' to the loss of Mafuyu, though.
