it's just friends holding hands

Characters: Battler Ushiromiya and Yosuke Hanamura, open to others!
Setting/Location: A restaurant in the first district of Sleepywoods.
Date & Time: Day 0, evening.
Warnings: Heavy levels of bromance?
Summary: Battler asks his newly assigned roommate to grab a bite to eat with him.

To be honest, Battler was having a difficult time adjusting. The entire situation just screamed outright sketchy to him. Everyone magically disappearing from their homes into some fairytale-like setting only to have witches and giants and magical creatures offer them a way back? Give him a break. There had to be some sort of logical reason behind this, right? The problem was, he couldn't think of a single thing. Nothing. That Jaime guy brought up an interesting point about the person responsible wanting to fool and enslave everyone, but somehow... That didn't feel right. Battler wouldn't mind accepting this for what it was -- his head was beginning to hurt, and if he was in another fragment, he couldn't judge their laws of physics and logic like he could back home.

Too much thinking. He needed a break. Going along with the whole thing for now, he's spoken to his roommate for their "journey", Yosuke Hanamura, who sounded like a nice enough guy. Detective Adachi-san explained that he was around his age, so there would be no problems there. He has a feeling they'd get along pretty well, even if Yosuke seemed to have a hard time following his thought process -- not that he could blame him. It got pretty twisted sometimes...

His hands are in the pockets of his coat as he waits by the entrance of the food place. "You'll recognize me by the ridiculous cape," he had informed his roommate prior to his arrival. He could probably just remove it, but what if he lost it in all the chaos? It seemed like something that was pretty important as the current Game Master back in Purgatory.

Right now, though, Battler's biggest concern was if the place took yen or not. After all, he offered to pay, and it was basically within a man's moral code to own up to his own promises, whether with a girl or a bro. If worse came to worst, maybe he could snap his fingers and create the right amount of currency out of thin air? To be honest, he hadn't tested much of his powers as an Endless Witch around here.
