Despite having been in this place for more than a day now (and having spent most of it in the room Tyki shared with Yoite) he hadn’t spoken much to the other boy. It wasn’t just that Allen had been quiet, Yoite was as well so his outburst earlier had been surprising. Another one of those strange effects he’d heard about maybe. If this was tame compared to other things that had happened he had to wonder what they were usually subjected to. Then again he might have been too used to stranger things like becoming vampires and zombies thanks to the ridiculous things the Science Department made.
“Yoite?” Allen put on his smile the way someone put on their clothes, open and gentle on his face. It was surprisingly easy to do again, everything that weighed him down set aside for now. There wasn't anything else he could do but move on, after all. “You’re ready?”

Sharing a room with Tyki wasn't was bad as it could have been, seeing as Yoite was a man of very few words and Tykie pretty much seemed to keep himself to himself, there had been no problems. Yoite had been moved around a lot since he first arrived here, some of his other room mates were a little loud for him, like that strawberry blond, Ichigo, or the doughnut eating gunslinger, Vash ... Tyki was fine, and Allen being there too didn't seem much of a problem. If anything, Yoite was itching to play poker with the two maybe, what with his genius in the area of maths and all, he could probably teach the two a thing about how to win without actually cheating.
There was no smile offered back, just fading blue eyes, looking up from the shade of his cap, what sight he had left, he was able to pick out the smile and so he at least nodded in response. "Allen? ... Yoite is ready, the hall is that way." Raising his hand and pointing down the hallway, one place Yoite always remembered how to get to, was the kitchen and dinning room after all.

“Let’s go then,” Allen agreed, falling in step next to Yoite. It had been a long time since Allen had travelled with a caravan even so this was hardly the typical kind that he’d find back when he was younger. The caravan was almost unbelievably large and he’d gotten lost several times that day already. Allen was sure that in time he’d learn exactly where the dining hall was as well but it was still early on in his stay.

After a few moments of silent walking, Yoite put his hand out to push open the door, he had the place memorized too, so he knew just exactly when to feel for the handle. Standing to the side and letting Allen walk in fist, luck for them, dinner was just being served out in the kitchen. It smelt wonderful. "Pick a seat." he said, it was probably a little snappish sounding, but that was just the strange effects this place had suddenly decided to throw at him.
