Today I decided to work on finishing some of the projects sitting in a plastic tub. So I picked up a shift which needed hemming (based on http://www.kostym.cz/Anglicky/6_Dobove/05_Kosilky/VI_05_01.htm) that I started earlier in the year. I'd hemmed one armhole and opened & sewn down one side seam, and hemmed across the bottom front edge.
Today I hemmed the other armhole and it looks yikky- lumpy & bumpy across the bottom curve. I'll iron it & see if that helps, and if not then I might redo it. Bother.
Or it is only underwear- in theory nobody is going to see it....
