Jordan and I just got back from a little vacation in New Hampshire. It was great to get some time away from everything. The innkeeper made the most amazing breakfasts and chocolate chip cookies. We also had a great view from our room:

We got some awesome fudge and candy on our last day. On the ride home:

Jordan: Can I have some of that peanut butter fudge?
Katie: But you're driving. Just pay attention to the road.
Jordan: Katie, you've studied music. You know that every good boy deserves fudge.

I was so impressed with his knowledge of music, I gave him the fudge.

In other news, my aunt made me some apple pie and pho! She's such an amazing cook. My freezer is full of her turkey burgers, chicken parm, and cha gio. I don't know how she does it. I sat in on one of her cooking classes when she taught her students how to make cha gio, and mine came out awful. But for as long as I can remember, my aunt has been making them and selling them, often for charity, with a lot of success.
