Why am I instantly flushed once I get to Miami?

Is it a bad thing that I have only been in Miami for 15 minutes and I want to go back home (Yes, I now call Tallahassee "home")? I just dont see any jubilation on any of my families faces when I walk in the door. Its like a "hey, egh, whats up" kind of attitude. I hate to be pessimistic, but I see this winter not being at its best. As of 15 minutes
