house?
I found an ad in a local paper in kansas for a house for rent for the school year, which a year would be fine since after that he will have less than 12 mths in and we would need a place that could lease month for month... well it's 900 a month, 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a fenced in backyard, and a 1 car garage. it has a stove, frigerator, and a dishwasher in it and has washer and dryer hookups. so that's all good... it's about 5 min from KSU and 15 min from post! we have a friend here that has a friend who just moved to kansas and i am going to get her number to see if she can go and take pics on the inside of the house and such. I have been emailing back and forth with the owner... it will be available in july or in august.. well we won't offically be at riley till about the 23rd of july, maybe a few days later i forget all about the 2 types of leave we are doing. so that could work very good for us... i haven't had the chance to talk to scott about everythign the owner has sent me via email... The house dimensions are as follows:
Living Room - 18x13
Dining Room - 11x9
Kitchen - 11x10
Master Bedroom - 13x10
2nd Bedroom - 10x10
3rd Bedroom - 10x8
so it's pretty good sized... which we need the room since we're going to have everything we own in there... i just hope the inside looks as great as the outside does in the pics he sent. he said he doesn't have a problem renting to a military family... actually prefers one and that on the block are other military families as well. i know i need to get on the ball with this and hey if i get that number to our friends friend and she takes pics for us and we like it maybe i could get hte guy to hold it for us... wishful thinking since we're part of the small group that will be the last to get there.
we are going tomorrow to do Emmas passport... it will be rushed and hopefully we will have it in time. we have to book our flight soon and schedule a date to get our HHG picked up... which i am going to suggest to scott to get them picked up next month if possible. we can survive and danielle has an air mattress for lori and heather that we could borrow... and i know she has a set of pans that she's just goign to throw out that i could use till we leave and i could borrow her other tv as well, and they give us temp furniture which all we need is a bed and a desk and couch. we lived with nothing but an air mattress when we got here so whatever. just we need our stuff once we reach the states so it will benefit us if we get it gone now... my car on the other hand... we won't be able to ship it till june and then have to wait till aug or sept to get it... hoepfully it won't take that long. i am going to schedule scott's car to leave here next week sometime... that way he can get it all fixed and cleaned out this weekend. I am slowly starting to inventory everything in the house... it's hard b/c nothing stays in the same spot and i know i will jstu have to add to it all before movers arrive. which sucks b/c we will have to move everything out of our room and shut our room up with the stuff htat's staying here with us while they are here. i am hoping to have a good supply of milk pumped and stored for the movers that way i can leave Emma with Jody or Jennifer or Danielle. I am going in the morning to start my dental file so i can get my teeth taken care of, so i need milk for those days so scott can feed her. i gave her a lil formula earlier today and that was the first she had had since saturday afternoon... i had to give it to her tho b/c my boobs were throbbing and i had just pumped one side and she had eaten like 30 min before and got hungry again and she kept pulling away from the other side so i had to give in and fix a bottle. i went and got baby prune juice, hoping she makes a poop sometime soon. she drank like 1.5 oz from it. so hopefully once she goes she wont be as fussy.
anyways i just laid her down 15 min ago and i am off to bed now as well. laters.
