Count every Blessing, and thank the Lord for it :)
Well this weekend has been really really busy, but I've also very good. I learned alot too! :)
On Saturday as most of you know, I organized a blanket drive at school and collected blankets for the low icome families of south phoenix. Well, it was a huge success! Thanks to God. :) Anyhow I deliverved them on Saturday evening at this place called Church on the Street. They have a preacher and a band and its really awesome its in a open lot and its for any homeless people to come and get food and praise the Lord. The lord worked awesome miracles and it was terrfic. It's funny to go down there and see the people that live on the streets, You offer them a whole thing of bannas but they wont take them all because they are aftaid that they will take to much. When we are all very wealthy but never have enough we take and take and take. I handed this one man a blanket.. and he goes... How much will this costs.. He says its not something he NEEDs I said, "it costs nothing its from the Lord he loves you." His smile on his face is unforgettable. We take so much that we don't need. Think of what you got for christmas.. How much of that do you to this day still use? Did you really NEED it? No. Notice how the people that have the littest are the happiest and us that have un spendable amounts of money.. We are never happy we always need something else to make us happy. Thank the Lord for everything that you have today. Without God you wouldn't have anything. next time your in Best Buy and you have to have that Slipknot cd that your mom refuses to by you, think of those people that live on the streets that barley get to have a full meal everyday. Or when your in Hollister and you HAVE to have those Jeans that the "popular" girls wear.. forget about them you don't really need them. Count every blessing. and thank God for it.
Sunday was fun too. I woke up around 10 and got ready and around 11 we went to the Clubwest Golf Course for the Desert Vista Hockey Team because they were having a Golf tournment. So my mom and I were suppose to work at the registration table, but they didn't need us. So we went shopping and got coffee. After buying a few things we came back home and then we deicded we should go get food for dinner and my mom wanted to Tan. So we did that then came home and cleaned and things. Then my dad calls and says that everyone from the Tourn. is going to Austlers and to meet him there so we did that and just went and got drinks and then after came home and had dinner, And my dads friend (idk his name) and then his other frined George came over and had dinner with us. SO that was alot of fun. And now im here. Talking to Steven and drinkin a D.P. :)
