Driving Skills vs. Political Leanings

May 27, 2005 19:00

A recent insurance study quantified the average driving skill for the population of citizens in each state. Being a quality engineer...I found the color of these states in an attempt to correlate driving skills and politics.

The red states average 84.2, a small 1.8 margin over the blue states at 82.4.

It is interesting that 9 of the 10 worst driving states voted Democratically this last November.
