And this is how you sound: "Moooo"

Friday night I had a volleyball game and we had a cookout to go with it. My company has two teams in the league, and we played each other Friday. The captain thought it would be nice to have a cookout since so many people from the company would be there. Plus, it was a good way to entice a bunch of people to play volleyball at 7:15 on a Friday ( Read more... )

You have a porch? Summer grillin'....delicious.
Have fun, do some tasty food times. Even better, winter grilling. Burgers in the snow, after you are ridiculous drunk. Hahah. Fire.

Ah, but the complex does not allow grilling on the patios and porches. Seems they are worried about drunk people starting a four-alarm fire or something. Stupid sensationalists. If you want to grill, you have to be 100 feet from a building. So, the grill will sit on my patio, tempting fate. Maybe I'll take it into work and grill from my cube. That would lead to an exciting Monday.

Our apartment complex doesn't allow it either, but everyone, and I do mean everyone has a grill, and grills right on their balcony. Are there any neighbors around that would report you? I'd say go for it, it's not like you're cooking with propane right?

Are the balconies and patios made of wood? Usually that's the biggest problem. We're not supposed to use grills on our balconies, but since they're made of concrete and a little metal, none of the apartment complex's employees 'notice' grills(charcoal, propane, electric) on every balcony.

I would say have a friend that doesn't live in your apartment complex go and ask the office, that way if you want to test the rules yourself, they're not potentially keeping an eye on you already.

100 ft. would that be the parking lot? or could you actually carry the grill out 100 ft from the back of your porch? get a tape measure, it'll be fun. lighting shit on fire is as american as fucking an apple pie.

Well, where my building is, there isn't 100 feet between the buildings, so I would have to grill in a designated picnic area.

You know you want to grill... A hamburger or steak would taste so good tonight after a long day in the office...

Concrete patio. No other porches or patios have grills, so I'm thinking they must enforce that rule. Maybe I'll just say "Fuck 'em" and do it anyway because I'm highly suggestable.

I love grilling in the winter. If we're getting a big snow storm, the first thing I do is grill something (or at least it seems like that the past couple years..). Mmmmm....
