if my inevitable downfall is caused by anything while i'm at university, it will be these:
the milky way crispy roll. I adore them; i idolise them. at home they could not be bought anywhere except for the tricksy and never-open newsagent's in the train station. yet lo and behold, in the overpriced shop behind my building: crispy roll mecca. but not just crispy rolls. choc dips, highland toffee bars, flavours of wham bar i have never seen before, cadbury's dream bars, walnut whips, caramac, and daim bars. it is a beautiful, beautiful place. but overpriced.
up until this point i have been very controlling about my candy intake. one bar a week has been sufficing. however, in my new system of money-management (cash at the start of the week and once it's gone, it's gone) i have a lot of jingly, friendly change to use up. and this change would dearly love to be converted to a soft, sweet, crispy snack.
my good resolutions are gone. there are two in the fridge.
