College Life

Talking about college life. I felt like someone shot my dog a few days before I moved, and I was having a panic attack the morning I moved in, but now that I'm settled in, this is awesome! I've met a bunch of people (almost all in band), and I have marching band practice from 9 AM to 9 PM for the rest of the week! Malt-ball-sweetness! My roomy moved in sometime today- so I see his stuff but not his person. I get free bike fixes, a free pool, free rock-climbing, internet access everywhere...it's cool! And people are very easy-going here. I left my laptop at Matt's yesterday, and I have mary's sweater tonight, we eat at West (it's near Reser Stadium and Christine and Mary's dorms). Corvallis has at least four bike shops and three music stores; there's a free recording studio on campus, our ID acts as a food card and bus pass, and I'll be seing how close to home I can get without paying so I can see some plays and pep band with all you folks! All I have to do is set up my IM. My e-mail is 'hawthord@onid.orst'- send if you will. Internet stalkers sending me stuff will be digitally and musically butchered.

That said, 'though I don't have much home sickness, it would be very cool if you people were in the dorms, too. Who knows, maybe next year you will be. Bye-bye for now!

(And as a friend's friend's drunk friend once said: "Hot girls! Ev'where! Ev'where! Parties! Ev'where! Ev'where!...[okay, dude] Ev'where! [*click*]." Allow me to echo the sentiment without the frat-boyish topics of appeal. Goodnight!
