Midwinter gifting.

Midwinter gifting was never a chore in Khemrys's eyes, far from. No, it was a pleasure, and a task with which to fill the empty hours of winter when it was folly to work outdoors as was her wont.

And so, she had her gifts ready. A basket full of bottles, each with a person's name upon them. Summer Puff wine, harvested and made by her young apprentice Laerke and herself this summer past. It was a breath of warmer days on a cold night...and they were for Lord Archie, Lady Svava, Lady Tersa, Lord Gibbs, Lord Knox, Lord Whistler, Lord Silver, Lady Isuzu, Lady Eostre, and the Lords Penguin.

There was another glass bottle, also summer puff wine, but well watered with pear juice for little Laerke.

Lord Bob did not smell properly of this world when she had met him, and so there was not drink such as she knew it for him, sadly, no, but there was a light silver vest over which was a quick badge stitched. The badge itself was Lord Bob's blue screen crossed by a sword and Guardian written beneath.

Lady Suzi did receive a stoneware set of teas, all sweet to the woman's tastes without being heavily sugared, and a small pot of clover honey to sweeten other things in her life.

Lady Elizabeth and Lord Yrael beautifully embroidered tunics of silk, bearing a full moon upon the breast of each and the appropriate paw prints across said moon. Lady Elizabeth's was a tunic of darkest blue with a golden moon, and Lord Yrael's was a tunic of black with silver moon.

For Lady Bar there was a gift as well, a long length of white damask stitched for inches upon each edge of feastly things, of meals and drinks in gilt threads and semi-precious stones. A feast day cloth for the magical lady that had more than a year in making.

As for her Lord Jason...

That gift was to be given in person.
