welp, big update since my last entry. I HAVE A JOB! i just finished week 2 at epic, the industry leader in healthcare software. we will serve about 40% of the US when all of our current customers have installed. i'll be supporting an operating room program and will get to watch surgeons in action during business trips! it's strange how, growing up with parents doing medical research, i never wanted to go to med school. and yet i find myself in the medical industry. i think this will be a good place. lots of young people, cool folks in my hire class. good contingent of attractive girls. nice city, although it's much smaller than anything i'm used to. we've already had our first frost, surprisingly. that IS unseasonably cold, just in case you were wondering. no roommate, so it's a little antisocial i suppose, but i aim to make sure i make good friends and hang out with them a lot. it's a bit tedious not having a car or bike right now as i have to walk or take the bus everywhere, and while the bus system is good (well-timed), it is not very frequent. just waiting for my first (monthly) paycheck, and looking to meet a girl...
