Word Mania
I am a word nerd. I love words. I love when people put words together and they flow beautifully. I love clever lyrics and wordplay. I'm not bad at it, but I wish I were better. I love rhyming. I am the person who writes rhymes for family members at special birthdays and weddings. I always send out holiday cards with news about our family in rhyme. When I was a little girl, back in the '60s, my parents used to play an album by Alan Sherman. I think it was called "My Son the Folksinger." He wrote alternative lyrics to well known songs. I'd love to do that. I took great pleasure in reading Dr. Seuss and Shel Silverstein books to our kids when they were young. Those men were brilliant. I also do crossword puzzles and like to play Scrabble. More things having to do with words.
