I love my father. he is so bizarre. the other morning, at like 7 am, he kept calling and calling and it was really annoying because i was trying to sleep, but eventually i answered the phone because i thought maybe something happened to my grandpa, but no. all he wanted was to say hi. and to say that he really wanted me to go skydiving again and that he would pay for it. and of course i am going to take him up on that because it is SUPER fun. but i didnt want to go alone really so i was thinking that patrick and i could split the cost of his skydive so that he could come too, but then my dad called back and was like, "you can take your...friend... too. and ill pay for it" (meaning patrick) and i wasnt expecting that, but i asked if he was sure he wanted to do that and he said yes he was. so patrick and i get to go skydiving! weeeeee! we are going on friday! i am sooooo excited!
school is silly. its like the fourth week, and we still havent done ANYTHING of use in my three stupid 2 credit classes. we do have assignments, but hell if i know what i am supposed to do for them because the teachers dont explain them at all and if we ask questions they just vaguely refer to the syllabus where there is sort of an outline, but i mean, it would be nice if the teacher actually told us what we are supposed to do. and they are group projects too, so i somehow have to coordinate a group of 5 people in doing some project that none of us really know anything about. great. the good news is, i transfered my pottery grade (A) from clark to UP and it brought my GPA up to a 3.05! wooooooo! im back in the 3.0s!
i also got a new phone! my contract expired with Verizon so i switched to t-mobile because its what my family and patrick is on, so it only makes sense that i be on it. plus verizon had been pissing me off lately with their service and customer care. so take that, verizon.
oh, and patrick graduated from paramedic school! he got the highest grade in the class on the final. on monday he goes in to find out about his internship and hopefully finds out where he is going. today he went to take the public safety test for some firefighter positions that opened up in vancouver, and if he does well on that then he will qualify to interview for the job openings in january, which just happens to be when he should be done with his internship, meaning he would be able to take his state paramedic lisencing test right before the interviews and have that qualification on his resume, which means he would be in very good standing. very exciting!
