News of me OOC and chats update.
OOC: Well I worked this weekend, and whew, it sure did wear me out. I'm walking constantly. 8 hours with two 15 minute breaks and a half an hour lunch. This may do wonders for getting me in shape, but so far my feet were killing me. I definitely need new shoes. That sort of thing will have to wait until I get paid though. So far I'm only working the weekend. I need more full time work soon.
I may also have to change companies if this one will not give me work close to where I live, but at least I have my foot in the door and I am working. In other news Gnarlycranium and I have to move out of this place we're staying in. Sure the rent is ludicrously cheap, but it's also becoming infested with fleas, we can't use the kitchen and these factors are costing gnarly quite a bit of money so we can eat, wash our clothes and have to wake up nights scratching. We need to be able to get enough rest if we expect to be able to function at our jobs and classes. (I'm not going back to school just yet, but I'd like to have some sort of class to attend maybe at the community college.)
It looks like we will not be moving out of here before the new semester starts but we do have a prospective place. We don't know how long it will take the people there to move out though, but it looks like it could be a good arrangement. I need to be working full time before we can even think about affording it. I'm also thinking I might want to start an Etsy or sell things I make through Deviant Art and Paypal. I'll make more announcements here when that seems like something more workable.
Now for RP news. I've hit a stall on writing while I'm busy going to work and juggling all these plans, but not to worry. I'm going to be writing today and tomorrow and I hope to have the scene written out and finished very quickly. It's going to be mostly dialogue and that always runs fast once I get it going. So you have that to look forward to. The next scene after may be more of the same and will run easily too. So I'm pretty optimistic about getting things written out timely-like as long as I can set aside the time for writing.
Right now I have to write my father a letter appraising him of the situation and I might need to ask my family for some help with making rent and the moving in deposit as soon as I know how much I'll need to save. So that's what's going on so far. Keep an eye here for the scene #0010 that should be posted as soon as I finish the next one.
