and i can still use the computers at calle segre ocho
its completely weird here though...nobody, i mean nobody, is around, creepy
makes me homesick so much more, knowing that they are all where i want to be
i wish the pixies concert was sooner
but the weather is finally cooporating in Madrid, beautiful beautiful beautiful
25 degrees today and so much sun
Barcelona was magnificent. i actually didn't like it at first, but then i discovered there is so much more to the city than La Rambla. I loved how there were random Gaudi buildings all over the city, how there is a drip castle in the middle, and that there is so much to do. la casa mila (gaudi's apartment building) was really cool. i wanted to play tag in the attic, either that or film a horror movie. i didn't find this so called perfect seat in park Güell, but i'm not quite sure it exists, i'll have to ask Ron more about it (he is this old actor who told me to go to Barca, to the Gaudi gardens, and find the perfect seat, once you sit down, you look into the garden of eden and see the serpent staring back at you). the beach in Barca is really dirty. overall, though, the city was amazing and i would have liked to spend more time there, live there. i think that San Sebastian might still be my favorite city in Spain, but Barca comes pretty close.
qué más... there was this crazy lady outside the hostal door in the stairway that asked us why we did not open the door for her, and when we proceeded to continue leaving, she hit allie in the head with her bags and chased us down the stairs. it was pretty freaky.
my sister also gave me a cold, which really sucks, and i've been coughing up a lung all day. i hope i get better soon, i hate being sick while traveling, i hate been sick at all.
its too nice of a day to be in this computer lab. voy a tomar el sol
