a bit of joy and a bit of sadness
so i was prepared to have this entry be all about how i'm excited i am that the pixies are actually having their reunion tour, and i actually have the option of seeing the pixies live in my lifetime (i just have to figure out where they are playing when and where i ahve to be.) and how i went to bed with pixies in my head, and started the day the same way.
but then i got to school and was informed that (in the words of Allison Padavan, asst. director of student affairs) "A number of explosives were placed, presumably by the Basque separatist terrorist organization ETA, on 3-4 commuter trains during this morning's early commute causing a very large number of deaths and wounded." This put a damper on my chipper mood. i'm still excited about the pixies, and life seems to be going on as normal, and i don't feel that affected by it, cause i don't live near Atocha, but it all still kinda sucks.
