wow - i forgot i still have this
somehow my thoughts brought me to livejournal the other day, and I figured I would see if my account was still working.
so it is, and then I saw that my last entry was kinda depressing... which does not reflect my current mood at all... so i needed to fix that with a new entry.
i'm currently at work, working at Undergraduate Admissions at NYU as a special events coordinator. my first full time salary gig with benefits and everything. A little weird doing the 9-5 mon-fri shuffle, but it pays, and i'm hoping to use the tuition remission for my masters from NYU wagner school of public service, if i get in (cross my fingers).
i'm now living in chinaside (where chinatown meets the lower east side) with my friend from HS, Jackie. i'm holding onto manhattan as long as i can... and JP lives in Brooklyn, Bay Ridge, so I can get away from my tiny apartment if i want. my "country" home in bay ridge, hehe.
JP is the boyfriend, so no more broken heart, this heart-o-mine is in love.
so things are good; work is good, life is good, love is good, and the future has more to offer (i hope). i still need to change the world, but that is coming, i haven't given up, i'm working towards that. i guess my biggest challenge at the moment is not getting stuck.
