Yay the head arrived ^^ That was really very fast from China. It took just a weekend. To bad the Mailman couldn't find my house. But I saw him walking a bit lost, so I run into him. (My street is divided with another street and the mailman was on the wrong side of the street, where the burned down house was.)
Without face-up the head doesn't look that innocent XD
As a tradition I always post the boxopening in my LJ. This time behind cut and no box, in case you don't care or are bored :P
This thread contains lots of images as this head is from a total new studio and I was lucky to receive this head in a very fast delivery from China. So I included more shots of the head in different angles and body switching. I didn't had time to do a resin match. At the moment I had a Volks SD10 girl body at home from a customer, so with her permission I included matches with Volks too.
Ok on to the opening.

) ANother STudio already warned this is an Artist head and comes with flaws, but so far it looks pretty good. No bubbles at all. The resin feels rough and got texture, but that's what I like.
With dreaming eyes it is difficult to find fitting eyes and the head don't have deep eye sockets. High domes will be a problem. But I'm planning leds for her/him/it.
Different wigs
More wigs, the head wears the regular large wig size, 8-9 inch.
Head size comparison with Unidoll Limited Uh-03 (Yoko) Yoko got a pretty big head, so Orchid is your regular large head size.
I have to check which size the neck of the Unidoll limited girl body is. (Forgive the hotglue on the neck) It's a bit wobble on thinner necks.
On the Unidoll real male body the head fits perfectly
Proportion wise it looks really good.
Or maybe it is the suit
Or the muscular chest
Reference with the Volks mimi with SD10 girl Body. Here the Volks resin is more darker, maybe it is one of the older bodies? (I've sanded the body and head, so it is not yellowed)
