Okay you know what it's been a loooong while since I did one of these.

So Ganymede is the most obvious exception to Mithos's rule of BOY I SURE DO HATE HUMANS because people who look like Martel are his elemental weakness. When he turned into Artemis it softened his features and made the resemblance even more striking and-he owned Mithos 100% on that front simply by existing. Mithos has kind of negated the whole issue of Ganymede's humanity/race/whatever in his head because it got canceled out by MARTELLLL.
So he just addresses Ganymede as, you know, a person-and the thing is, once Mithos gets to that point he's actually capable of liking anybody who talks to him on an equal level, no matter how much he denies that to himself. And he likes Ganymede! He likes his prickliness and his matter-of-factness and he wants to get to know him better, though he's cautious of Apollo turning him into wildlife again which hinders that a little. He also has this weird semi-possessive protectiveness towards Ganymede, partly because Ganymede is someone whose company he actually enjoys now, partly because Ganymede is one of those people who attracts trouble and seems to actually need protecting and Mithos still needs to be a hero sometimes, partly still because of the Martel resemblance.
Also, you know, he has a weird uneasy attraction thingy for him, and jealousy towards Apollo (though he's relieved Apollo won't drop Ganymede in pits anymore or whatever.) Basically his complexes show a lot around Ganymede, but he's a lot more awkward about them and Ganymede doesn't top him as hard as some other people do. I think it's because Ganymede doesn't have magical Jesus powers on top of everything else, or at least not the kind that provoke Mithos.
ARTEMIS ON GANYMEDE
“So in my universe, my dad turned into an eagle and fucked you. How does that make you feel, Ganymede? Grossed out? Good, we understand each other.”
. . . I MEAN. Okay, they haven't talked too much yet, but Artemis also kind of likes Ganymede! She doesn't think he's bad, for a human, and she finds him sensible and interesting to talk to! And she likes prodding at the Olimpos cast in general because their alternate pantheon/world fascinates her in particular-PJOverse is also interesting, but it's not as different. She enjoys how uncomfortable Apollo is around Ganymede, too-the gods just take that kind of schadenfreudesque interest in each other's pain, I guess-and generally she approves of the pair of them as long as they don't start making out.
ALBERT ON ESTHER
...Albert still feels bad over the whole forced confession fiasco, okay. He didn't hide his relationship with Abel because he thought Esther would react badly, or because she couldn't be trusted to handle that information, or because he was jealous! He did it simply because it was simpler and easier on everybody not knowing, but he doesn't...precisely mind that she knows now. He just wishes it could have been handled better and in a less hurtful fashion-he tried to be gentle about it but he could kind of see that discomfort she felt at being excluded from knowing, and he respects that.
He has that degree of respect and concern for her, because he does like and trust Esther a lot! He heard quite a bit about her from Abel before she ever came to camp, and when she arrived he saw that she lived up to and surpassed Abel's image of her. He thinks she's a beautiful, strong and capable young lady, if rather reckless, and he's very glad to have her on his side, so to speak, and that she's someone Abel can depend on. Hell, he doesn't think Abel depends on her enough; he's called him on it once or twice.
And yeah, he's not okay with having disappointed her. Their friendship is something he values, he owes her his life from Dietrich's maze, and she's not someone he wants to hurt. He does see the inevitability of her getting tangled up in things whenever the Orden decides to make a move, too, so he's made a promise with himself to be more honest and communicative with her in the future.
