mid memorial day redux
rearranging the river rocks in the garden. watching snippets of infinity wars part un, in prep for taking the kids to see endgame, which still bugs me, beyond microverse and time travelly stuff. I guess I can accept Kang timey wimey, because future alien, but does it all have to be about Tony Stark? In the MCU, he invents Ultron _and_ time travel. Also, what is an inverted moebius strip? Another meobius strip, no? But really, Hulk gets barely anything interesting, and the half-Banner thing is just gross. The ladies are nice but just there to be in a longshot poster, and Captain Marvel, arguably the best part of the entire thing, drops the ball. Too many wide shots of CGI war scenes. This is panel one-on-one to 20-person melee time, not recreate Braveheart and the worst of Star Wars time. I'll probably duck out and see a bit of John Wick or something fun. V is fascinated with the idea of snapping people back into existence, as well he should be...and they should have done an end credits scene, epilogue-y if needs be, but really it should have been there. mutants maybe
