[ There's a tall, imposing guy in a red trench coat walking down the street of Mac Anu with one hand in his pocket and the other balancing a huge sizable axe on his shoulder. He glances about the area as he walks, looking to be a bit lost.
What will you do?
> Ignore him. > Greet him. > Run into him. > Touch his axe. ]
[When Minato first catches a glance of that familiar hobo jacket, he freezes, a little skeptical. Moving closer, he catches a better look--enough to be sure this is who he thinks it is.

[ She hadn't been here for too much longer than a day or two, but so far so good. She joined a beginners' guild, ensuring she had a place to rest and eat, which was important since she wanted to spend some time familiarizing herself with the town of Mac Anu before taking on any quests. It was probably odd that it wasn't taking her long at all to settle in, but she always somehow managed to fit into things, no matter how strange they were. ]

[... Actually, adapting wasn't quite as easy as it usually was, and Minako knew exactly why. It was New Years' Eve back at home and she had an important decision to make. Back at home, where her precious friends were. Had time passed on without her? Probably. She almost wondered what kind of decision they would make without her there, but she was certain they would do the right thing even without her to lead them. But then what? Nyx' arrival was right around the corner. Were they supposed to fight without her?
These questions had given light to some doubt in her heart, but she squashed that early on. There was no doubt in her mind that everyone was going to try their hardest, just like they always had, and she was definitely going to try her hardest to get back to them. ]

[ And that. Is a voice he would never mistake anywhere. The voice whose owner haunts him like a stubborn ghost, a face that's burned into the back of his mind and never letting go.
He never expected to see her here. But still, it has only been a day since he gave her that watch. ]

[ aigis, having separated from minato not long ago, scans the area for familiar faces.
she knows that, theoretically, to not see any of her companions would be preferable. it would be ideal. it would mean that they would not be distracted from their mission--at least, this is what she thinks until she catches sight of a statistical impossibility.
a feeling rushes through her. a feeling her database couldn't quite place--something her programmers didn't write an "if" function in the case of. something to which her hardwiring wouldn't allow her to react--but to which, her human circuitry allows her to understand.
a feeling of wonder. a feeling of relief. a feeling of, "our long lost friend is alive."
"they will be overjoyed to know."
she makes her way over, dodging right through the crowd to the face burned in the mind of every member of SEES. she comes up behind him and grabs him gracelessly by the shoulder. ]
[ he doesn't make a noise when he feels the pressure of a hand on him, an object that's solid by form and rigid by touch. and he only raises an eyebrow when he turns to face the android. ]
Hey.

[ he ponders telling her about the gap between them, how he isn't actually dead last he remembers.
but that wouldn't make a difference. ]
You don't seem surprised.
[ it's hard to tell what aigis is thinking sometimes. not that he ever talked to her much in the first place. there was no need to. and the girl-- no, robot - always hung around minako.
A very average guy garbed all in green bumps into the tall man quite by accident, thunking his forehead right into the handle of the axe as he exits a shop the other man was passing and drops the armful of potions and food items he had been exiting with. ]
Ah--!! I'm so sorry, are you all right? I wasn't even looking ahead--
[ And he stoops to pick up his dropped items, smiling at the cobblestones. Instead of carrying them, this time, he begins to stuff them into the pouch on his belt and they disappear into his inventory. Another glance up and he realizes he's never seen this person around before-- mostly because he hadn't yet spotted any actual players with the heavy axes of the Flick Reaper class. ]
