xmas eve with the family
got to dad's around 4 being quite sad as i could not find a blow drier and need one for my hair not that it is a big deal but still...where the hell did my blow drier go while i was gone?
for my gift exchange present i put together 2 sushi sets with platters and chopsticks and miso bowls and sauce holders and it looked really cute so i set it all up and took a picture and put that on the outside and then wrapped all the items up....
dad got a gift certificate to blockbuster
we got to my aunt brady's house and my aunt beth is currently living there since she is looking for a home to buy and my cousins chris and alexa were there as well and that was it...quite a small group this year
so i talked a little about my trip and caught up on what everyone is doing and we had a lot of food that came from costco

dad: its like i always say....praise the lord and pass me the ammunition
i got money from the aunts and a scarf knitted by my aunt brady (i had no idea she knitted....she's the epitome of white mid/upper class golf playing, drinking, bmw driving....and now she knits)
aunt beth got my gift which is good because she is the only one who could appreciate it i think and dad got chris's gift which was wrapped in tin foil and duck tape and it was the ultimate car kit including one of those portable stools and.....road flares!!!!!
curious as to how a road flare works we decided to take one out to the front yard and let it go...this from my cousin who is rather prone to crazy bb gun and pyrotechnic stunts
and we all stood around it like it was a bonfire and i felt so white trash it was funny...even one of the neighbors came over to see what the hell we were all doing....then we tried to see if it would work under water so we got out the hose but alas it just snuffed it out
also brady showed me the plans for the extention of her house in which there will be a porch and sun deck and a huge entertainment room with pool table, bar, fire place and flat screen tv and also a huge new bedroom for her with a garden and huge bath and something called a mr. steam which will be her own private steam room.....
yeah....and a library and a new garage and all this crazy stuff and the three of them (brady and my cousins) are going to mammoth to stay in a condo for a week since their trip to costa rica or some such place didn't work out
damn my rich relatives
tomorrow morning at 8am is breakfast with mom and dad and then lunch with thomas and mom around 1130 and then dinner at david's parents with yen around 4
gonna be lots of food
yay
and so here passes tonight...christmas eve all alone in the apartment finishing up last minute presents and wondering if santa still remembers where i live
