It's right here in South Portland. Most of my friends hate this city, but I think it's a great place to raise Julie. The house is in the Red's Dairy Freeze/Brown School area. Pretty friggin close to everything!

Oh, and I meant to wish you luck with the CNA class!!! If things haven't changed, you'll have Pam and Nina as instructors. I took that class in 2002! It was VERY fun and informative! Once you get into the clinicals, I will talk to you more about it. But it is enjoyable!

no shit! Yeah I have Nina, and i did it just in time, this is her last year teaching (she's been doing it 9 years), i think she's great. I'm on my fourth class and second quiz today, clinicals start next month, don't remember the date, but we graduate nov 21, and they're trying to do it before thanksgiving week - but one girl can't get work off so it probably won't happen sooner
i didn't know/remember you took the class, how long were you a CNA for?

I took the class in 2002 (the real reason I had to graduate early!), and I was a CNA for about...ONE MINUTE. I found out the hard way, that I could not handle watching an old man shit himself while his feeding tube fell out of his stomach. I got so grossed out from it, I literally ran out of the building. LOL.
It's a shame...I would have really enjoyed it! I hope you enjoy it!

I meant to add- wait until you get to the Urology chapter... You get to watch a video about how to give people sponge baths and insert catheters. The video shows genitals!!! LOL...There were certain milestones where people dropped the class.
A. The Urology "How-to" video
B. Taking vital signs
C. During the first week of clinicals

The people in my class were such wusses. INCLUDING myself! I think you will do just fine! I still have my book..lol..If you need help, let me know.
