Wizard of Oz in a day?
Hi everyone! Its time for a peppy happy update from none other that ME!!!!!! Are you excited? I bet.
Well the beginning of the week was kind of uneventful and sad so I'm not gonna spend much time on it. However, i did get cast as Jack in "Zombie Prom" opposite the talented cara bush! yay! And...as i suspected...got one of the Starmites in "Starmites", but i think im gonna get to sing really high falsetto stuff so it should be fun. Brianne is the diva and shes gonna kick ass.
Moving on...Wed....I'm possibly the stupidest person alive. I have a rehearsal schedule for Les Miz but do u think i check it? Of course not! I just make up dates and times in my head and decide thats when i have rehearsal! So, i showed up to CAP on wed at 11:45 for what i thought was my 12-6 rehearsal. In reality, my rehearsal started AT 6 and the 12-6 rehearsal was thurs. go figure! (I found this all out from Jess G on da phone, after she laughed at me for a while! lol) So my dad def had a meeting of some sort so i had to wait at CAP for an hour with nothin to do....so i loitered, looked at some b-day cards in this store just for the hell of it...and bought chinese food even tho i wasnt hungry. Then Gina showed up and was all like "are you comin to RAGTIME today?" and i was like no...and she was like "the u/s for Mother is goin today" and i was like "well id like to see someone good do that part..." Then my baby Danielle showed up and so i decided to just stay and see it again. So after Dani's mom almost got in a fist fight with these old ladies who were in our seats, we sat down and saw the show...which i must say improved A LOT since opening weekend. It was actually really awesome...and the new mother had this incredible voice! wow! i got chills! So then i went to my les miz rehearsal and spent like 10 hours at CAP.
So where did i spend six hours today?...CAP of course! Well, after I went to pick up my wizard script from Sammi's. (who had just woken up and was very dazed and confused and in her pj's...lol i heart u sammi!) So neways, im having a lot of Fun at Les Miz...i dont know how good the shows gonna be, but im havin fun and thats all that matters. (Who wouldnt have fun if they got to go to Nigeria all the time? hehe) So yeah then i went to Bite of Bway rehearsal and ended up teaching the vocals for "Sweet Transvestite" cause no one could play piano and stuff...(or read the music cause it was handwritten and sucked at life!)
Tomorrow i have a very excitin day planned...I'm spending all day w/ Sammi which should be awesome cause we haven't hung out in a thousand years...we're goin to the mall and then she's gonna teach me the entire show of Wizard of Oz. lol Oh yeah, I'm filling in for Jordan as the Scarecrow in Wizard of Oz on Saterday and i dont know what the f--- im doin! yay! it should be interestin...So tomorrow night im prob gonna go see "Into the Woods" at Airport again...but i need to find some1 to go w/...call me if u wanna go (327-7073)!!!!!
