Sooo...
Well, I got semi-rejected from Western today. I'm not upset, but it was so jerk-offy and odd that I had to mention this rejection letter! So I get this fat package from Western, and I think, oooh my slides! I open it...and it IS my slides, exactly as I left them, nothing moved or touched, recommendations pristine, everything. SO I'm like, hoookay, did they even look at these?...then I look inside the package and there's this depressing little folded letter that vaguely rejects me from the art major. I was like, Mom, what DOES this mean? She said it must mean I didn't get in there, but it was weird because shouldn't rejection from the school come with rejection from the dept.? Oh, and the icing on the cake: It had my address on the top, but it said

MS ROBBINS????!!? Ouch. Oh, and my ego would've been verrrrryyyy bruised if I had gotten this Art Major rejection before I got into fucking CalArts, Parsons, and SVA. So Western can suck it. I wonder if they review your academics first, reject you, and then send you to the art dept to be reviewed? I'm serious, they didn't even look! Weird...
Anyway, I still haven't heard from RISD, but this is not stressing me out. I want to know, but there's no way I would want to go there. I like...half-applied. I was so done with apps after Parsons and SVA. Bah! We'll see, but I'm pretty sure my GPA is going to be my downfall here...and that horrible half-assed interior drawing I sent them. ahahaha
