I agree with pretty much everything you said. It was SO GOOD.
The battle at Hogwarts had so many funny and badass moments. Filch's belated "...Students out of bed!" followed by McGonagall's "They're supposed to be, you blithering idiot! Now go and do something constructive! Find Peeves!" was wonderful, as was Trelawney throwing the crystal balls at Fenrir Greyback. I just liked the thought of her basically admitting that they were worthless to her, fit only for throwing. "I have more!"
It was funny, because there were parts throughout the beginning/middle where I choked up a bit, and I really thought I'd start crying, but I didn't. And that seemed a little strange at the time, because I thought I'd be more emotional about the whole thing...and then it got to the end, with Snape and Lily, and pretty much everything that followed, and I just started bawling. I think it's just that everything was happening so quickly, so many things were being thrown out there at once, that it was difficult to process at first. So, yeah. It was excellent.
Oh, for sure! There's so many little things I have to go back and engrave in my brain. But basically the whole hogwarts battle was super bad ass. Kreacher leading the attack? But yeah, Snape pretty much had the most unfair life, EVER. I am so sad for him.
