First Day of Spring
I talked to Bill tonight, who was walking out to the middle of a field with a lawn chair. Today, he said, makes me think of all those man-made holidays that suck in comparison -- Christmas, Thanksgiving, what are they next to the first day you can smell the ground again?
This is Independence Day, it's Christmas (Jesus had to be born on a day like today), it's the New Year all rolled into one!
I had a great day too. The most memorable detail right now is that both Dan and Tom said today at the farm that they still believed in Santa Claus.
