where i've lived in the past year:
1) in a single room in an all girls hall, between a shy turkish engineer and a born-again business student
2) sleeping two or three to a bed in India
3) with my single mother and my very private brother
4) on various cots and couches in Cuba
5) with my very private dad and stepmom
6) with my single surrogate mother and her cat in Halifax
7) back with private dad and stepmom....
8) 300 N. Hayford Avenue.
I have forgotten what it's like to live where people have audible sex, especially when three roommates are gone for the weekend. I happen to be the fourth roommate. I feel a little nervous, but also happy.
