It has been a long time since I remain unscathed during those weekend curses. I hope that everybody fared as well as I did. Those are days of tension and confusion, but they aren't necessary bleak ones in most cases.

[And shortly enough, there he is at the door, in shades and a full suit even in the summer heat, looking perfectly self-possessed and waiting to greet Lilith.]

[Lilith hopes that Aion will be ready and will remain civil while they converse. She opens the door, bejeweled and clothed in a sari, offering him a demure smile and a bow of her head.]

Good afternoon, Jack. Please...

[Motions inside.]

[He tips his head a little to her, still smiling.]

I feel welcome already, Lilith.

[And he steps inside.]

I set a table in one of the inner gardens. I hope you don't mind drinking tea outdoors.

[Lilith explains after she shuts the door and starts to guide him. The halls and corridors of the Cathedral are wide and manage to retain some of the pristine gleam even after the numerous incidents the construction was subjected to.]

[He follows her without any indication that his attention is wandering, even though he's taking in everything around him as he goes.]

[Lilith stops by the arched gates that lead to a small, but well-cared garden bloomed with begonias, roses and strangely an orange tree. At the shade, there is a table set for tree people.]

[He studies the gates more thoroughly than he does the garden, but he takes it all in; then he makes his way to the table, sits down, and takes something out from within his suit jacket.

It's an old piece of paper. He sets it down on the table.]

[An Eagle perched on top of the roof spreads its wing wide as the man entered the garden. So that's him. If he was keen enough, he'd notice the red eye intensely but briefly darted at him with blood lust before a voice speaks up from the gates. A hand placed on Lilith's shoulder to reassure her he wasn't going to start anything (at least for now) and a small grin across his lips, Aion calmly presented himself with a greeting.]

Jack Simon I take it. Welcome to our home.

[Lilith was very aware of Aion's entrance when she started to pour the spicy tea into the cups to serve them. She glances at the paper set on the table, lifting an eyebrow when she scanned the scribblings. She acknowledged Aion over her shoulder with a nod.]

Have a seat you too and eat those. They aren't sweet.

[She gestured to the bowl with parippu vada she had just made.]

Aion. [He simply answered as he took a seat. His eye already taken note of the interesting paper displayed on the table. He adjusted his glasses and took a closer look. After a moment, he finally asked.]

[Lilith suggested serenely, bringing the cup to her lips. Her eyes scanned the paper, not the contents but the texture and the color. It looked like an ancient scroll.]

Have you tested the paper in a laboratory to corroborate its age?
