Ah-- horrible memories strike my mind all of a sudden. Last year, during the end of November and the beginning of December, an irruption of a virus called Tyrant (T) infected a large number of the population. The water supply of the City was polluted and became the first source of the virus infection. The effects were necrosis, substantial mutations after its incorporation in the subject's RNA, psychopathic rage, hunger, and eventually death. The virus animated the dead tissue, killing and replacing any mitochondria in infected cells, and then it combined with these cells to produce enough energy for motor and lower brain functions.

To make this simpler: the virus turned those unfortunate people into zombies. Not only the animals, but also some of the plant life. Those were bleak days. Scientists and doctors made haste. Anti-Viruses and vaccines were created and deployed to those affected areas. They worked; the outbroke was controlled and stopped.

Please, I implore to all citizens who think they are feeling sick (or a plea to their loved ones if they are unreasonable) to come to the Hospital. Ask help if you are unable to make it here yourself, we will have our personnel ready to attend your needs. There is a chance you might have a common case of influenza, but there is a stronger possibility that you have become infected with this new illness. This isn't the T-Virus, but the effects such as necrosis are similar, on the other hand, the sensibility to sunlight is exclusive to this ah-new "zombie" strain to be mundane in the vernacular. We need time to know how this new virus works in order to stop its process. If you are left to wander around suffering this ailing you are risking your life and the lives of those you care about.

Again, I insist: Come to the Hospital.

Meanwhile, and until we discover where is the main source of the infection, I would strongly advice to be careful with the pipe water supplies and the food you ingest. Avoid animal bites (and specially people's bites!) or any way of injury. Help us to prevent a greater crisis. Thank you.

Good luck.

Addendum: Those who are in need of fast means to reach to the Hospital can request the aid of Negi Springfield who offered his transportation service. We are in debt with his kindness.

[Hospital + known medical/healers]

There are old procedures written of how to function in these types of crisis. Our past experiences taught us well. Could someone help me to quarantine a floor (the last one is the best option)? If this isn't enough with the increasing numbers, we should spare two. Our current patients and equipment must be moved to the new locations. We should call a magic-practicer to help us ward the difficult cases as their control slip. There are leftover outfits to wear: helmets, leather gloves, protection to prevent our infection.

After we finish this, I would like to organize us in groups to ease our tasks and research more about the virus. There is a high possibility this is City-induced as we suspected last months strains were, but we cannot afford to dismiss the chance this is could have been brought by a citizen as the T-Virus was. We can't gamble with the lives of so many people.

I... ah--I pray this will be short-lived.

[Cathedral]

Is there anyone feeling sick? I mean anyone, including you, Jenai, and you, Aion. I don't care what pride you have, this is very serious! If anyone is sick, you will inform me immediately and you will follow my instructions. Don't argue with me in this subject, I beg you to avoid needless conflict.

In case I... get infected, I will have something to ask.

[Private]

I can get sick. Even if I am not supposed to... I must be careful. If my brain stops functioning, the least of my concerns is becoming a zombie. I cannot be as bold as before. I have to prioritize my true mission.

Is this fear what numbs me?

doctor, sick of zombies, zombies, oh noes, the dark saint
