Quite a wish you have there, Lilith... Nonetheless, desperate enough to ask a fictitious jolly man.

Ah. I didn't ask willingly, Aion. I know he's not real... in my world at least, he isn't.

So even the 'saint' doesn't believe in all the bullshit that's dished out?

I see you have a history of wishing unnecessary things on others, don't you?

Saint doesn't always stand for gullible or naïve.

Wishing...

The man has his reasons for despising the world I'm liking this guy more and more. and those two, Cain and Seth. You've mentioned them before. Can't seem to come to an agreement as well, I see.

This conversation has ended.

Don't presume to know Abel when you have only seen an image of him.

Quit sticking your head into other people's business when you have a quarrel of your own.

[He did it again. It was becoming a routine something of her vulnerable side was revealed to Aion and this disturbed Lilith greatly. It also unsettled her that she didn't mind that much he found out.

It felt... relieving and that liberating weight made her felt remorse and guilt. At least I can still reach this scope.

She didn't reply to Aion's comment, avoiding conflict, and heavily made her way to the most unused room of the Cathedral.

He had a point. But she would solve that problem. She had to do something with her borrowed time. They were becoming restless and began to whisper in her mind again. Ever since she began to falter, they were more often awoken in the back of her mind.

04.

She opened the door and walked in the aisle between the pews to kneel before the altar. Clasping her hands together, she began to pray.]

[No response back. After waiting 5 minutes, Aion broke into a laughter and flipped his phone shut as he made his way out of his door. He finally grasped something about the mysterious saint. After all this time, not knowing much about her than she knew about him. She wasn't going to get away with avoiding his questions, especially after all she's prodded him for. Sensing her presence more and more, the demon followed it to the chapel.

Of course. Thinking that simply praying was going to fix everything and get them anywhere. He flung open the door and stood by the entrance as he spots her by the alter. He spoke out loud enough for her to hear. Amusement heard in his voice as he slowly starts to walk towards her. A hand adjusting his glasses as he shrugs.]

Well well, look who is avoiding who now. I suppose I know where to find you now as well. [A light chuckle.] I see you haven't denied my statement.

[Her shallow breathing steadied when Aion entered. 04, too restless, she would send them to sleep. They must hunger. His voice didn't disturb her peace, she had none. Given his distate for religion, Lilith had thought he wouldn't come to bother her here. She was mistaken.

She didn't turn to look at him after a while, until she knew it was safe. Her voice was guarded.]

What do you want, Aion? What do you want me to say?

[She was more confused than angry. What did he want? Look for information to predict her reactions?]

You tell me. What are you hesitating to tell me? Besides, no one here is listening regardless of how long you kneel there.

[Aion took a seat in the first pew, his amused poker face on despite what he was thinking. Things were unsettling. The more he knew the better, he thought of the person who had cornered him on numerous occasions for the first time in his life. She knew of his motives, at least that they weren't ones she approved of. She could have easily taken him down with Chrno's help, especially prior to Fiore's arrival. Yet she sticks around, even helps him with certain things. She had to be plotting something against him... though her past actions questioned that as well. Who was confusing who here?]

Come, Lilith. I'd love to hear more of this "feeling" of yours, ha ha...

No matter what you believe, that isn't going to change my faith.

[She said almost stubbornly. Hadn't she lived with angels? Even kissed one during a curse? She had facts backing her up and that felt actually relieving.

She glanced above her shoulder to look at him.]

Is that important? It wouldn't change your opinion of me.

[Him too, like the Church and her allies saw her as a Saint for what is worth. While they reverenced this, Aion appeared to mock that fact. She didn't have to speak to someone who had that conception.]

[Aion stared back at her as his grin slowly faded seeming more serious. Something to make her continue. He gravely spoke answering the latter.]

They've already changed. Try me.

[He wasn't lying after all. His opinion of her since the day they met have.]

[She gave a pause and watched the change of expression.]

Ah. I wouldn't don't know where to begin, because I've never...

[Trusted someone else enough to tell her feelings? Abel, Cain and Seth already knew. Of course, she knew Aion wanted to manipulate her and she knew he wasn't trusworthy around people's lives.

But he had showed himself trustworthy with her own. That changed her perception.]
