All the cool kids are doing it! somein30 had such a fun technical round this time around and though I've been out of LJ for most of the month, I've been catching up on everyone's stunning sets. 10 was one I was super pleased with too, especially as I got it softer and more towards green. I was actually impressed with myself and I am glad I ditched the moon in the end, lol!
6 I was a bit concerned about because I didn't do much with it but the cap is busier than what minimalism might've been... I was trying to find a distinct varying subjects cap and then this worked out.
8 was a headache (everyone loves 39 which I wasn't sure they would!) and figuring out the explosion aspect of it was difficult (I mean, I had 39 in for so long and then had a kombucha girl moment when I made 28... so I worked backward). Part of me thinks it looked too pink so I went a bit ham on the cupcake and added the background texture to the forefront in an attempt to bring it all together. 3 was a super late addition! I'm so happy you like it!
23-25 were the pre-Jason alts to the color explosion, yes :D (I think I might've had 28 then but hadn't paid much attention to it)
I was! It wasn't my best and I was also coming off a mini-break... (Then I saw the remakes round on Dreamwidth and made some of my fave icons ever!? *points to userpic* So I was in a groove when edge of extinction happened :D I have to find a somewhat legal way to watch the recent seasons/at least DvG I miss it like crazy) Everyone's indeed crazy good and I think this new round is going to be amazing. I was honestly shocked I got back in o_o It was stressful and I second-guessed myself quite a bit (so, nothing new).
