03. [Multi] February Update · 21 icons
Oops, almost forgot to post the few icons I made for challenges last month! These are most of the icons I made in the month of February: there are a few I made for oddlyspecificon I can't reveal just yet and many I am still working on for itsabattlefield's current Big Battle (on favorite relationships). (I imposed some rules on myself and made it difficult... Namely, not repeating shows in those 10 icons when it'd be so easy to just choose 2-3 and run with that, using text in half of them, etc.)
I'm not too happy with what I ~~officially made this month, maybe because I made so many icons in January. The ones I liked most I can't show yet! Anyhoo.

capicontest Challenge 74: Luscious Locks ( original post)
The caps were great for this challenge. I like playing with hair in icons, besides being something I want to get better at, so this was a great chance. Like I mentioned in the original post, I tried to go for darker colorings since I tend to go for more vibrant colors. They might be too dark.

I love Disco and I love Mamma Mia, so I had to enter. These were made pretty last minute... so much so, I somehow missed the beautiful third Mamma Mia cap (Sophie's), which I saved for future use. I'm not too pleased with them.

20 got 3rd place.

Now I'm realizing it'd have likely ended up being 28-ish icons had I included oddlyspecificon's entries + alts, ha. I'm reticent to share any of the alts/rejects for oddlyspecificon since the style might give away how others looked.
[useless ramblings]Needless to say, I think my entries are obvious. I shared my totally off guesses already. For some reason, I find it hard to pinpoint the makers this time around when I could totally get a few right off other posts (before looking at the comments).
I also think the big battle entry will eventually merit its own post - I'm not kidding when I say I have made over 20 different icons and I'm sad my stupid own rules have made me cut some I was super proud of. Deadline is Monday so let's see how tired I am.
