uh well...
My parents' mutual friend John Conti is here for a few months, until he heads back to Peru. I offered to give him my room, but he wants to stay in the attic. To both repay my mother for room and board and keep himself busy, he's doing menial repair work around the house (painting, filling in cracks, etc). My brother gave my mom a balloon for her birthday, and he clipped a bunch of paper clips to it to make it even out. It just floats ambiently around the house. It's so cool that he gets such a kick out of it. He is a wonderfully interesting person.
