Sherlock Rec
Soooooo Sherlock fandom is like... I dunno, a wrapped basket of really eager, cuddly, kinky baby tigers or something. The volume of stuff that gets produced daily is staggering, as is its quality, and its width of topic - going from the fluffiest of fluffy John/Sherlock snugglefics to dark BDSM!murdering!Sherlock/Moriarty fics or whatever. It's pretty awesome.
I've read a lot of stuff already, some of it really, really good.
But this, well, erm, I kinda feel like I can just pack up and go home now, because this is like... The best John/Sherlock fic of all time. Every single line of this is haunting. Every single scene is written so visually that I can just see Martin and Benedict acting it out. Every single development is so spot on, and so canon, and in such delicious character voices that I think Moffat and Gatiss quite seriously need to hire this person for season 3 (because come oooooon after Reichenbach JohnLock just has to happen in a more strong way than it has till now because Sherlock is dead AND THEY LOVE EACH OTHER OKAY AND THEY WILL GET THE CHANCE TO SAY IT UNLIKE EVERYONE ELSE EVER and I will chain myself to gates for this and this fic is, well, how it would happen, mutatis mutandis with the post-Reichenbach).
So, if you haven't: go read The Reluctant Relationship and marvel at the wonder of this universe and of zoicite.
