It's fantastic how in character the dialogue and situations are here. Sherlock can be unusual in emotionally expressing himself sometimes, but it doesn't matter because John gets it anyway.

Thanks! It's one of the things I love about their dynamic - Sherlock can be such a wanker sometimes, and so closed off, and while John sometimes gets frustrated with that, he still manages to get it.
